The product arrived promptly. Clear installation instructions and parts for all possible configurations were included. Installation was easy, even for the less mechanically-inclined. My HDMI cable hasn't come loose once. (The connector on my Dish Network 722 had been slipping loose daily.)

It can really lock the HDMI cable tightly whatever I move the disc player together with the HDMI cable.The instruction is clearly and show the different methods to lock up the cable. Personally, I hope that the price of the HD EZ lock can decrease a little bit. Thank you for your kind concerning with my trivial opinion!

Being an obsessive tinkerer, I have a nasty habit of moving my AV equipment around from time to time. Once this resulted in an HDMI cable loosening slightly which, of course, required about four anxious hours to figure out. So, I bought the EX lock based on a review. They installed easily on my Onkyo receiver, have a professional look, and end loose-HDMI issues forever. Bravo!

Very fast shipping to Germany!
The hd EZ lock seems to be an unimpressive thing.......
......but it's a GREAT little helper - easy to install and just does what it's intended for!!! Now my HDMI cables connected really bombproof. I used it for my Onkyo TX-NR 807, Oppo BDP-83 (bought from CRT Projectors UK) and Sony KDL52Z5500. Highly recommended little thing!

Great product. On my hdmi inputs just putting the holding bracket on made the hdmi connection so much more secure I probably did not need to put the cable head holder/set screw piece on.

Easy to install. I used original equipment screws for most of my equipment. Worked fine and did not want to worry about service/warranty issues if I didn't have the oem screws in the unit.

Only issue is my ps3 slim. Plastic housing makes it so even using double sided industrial tape would not work. The hdmi input sits in a little valley and there is not enough room for the adapter. My ps3 slim hdmi input is solid and it is not one of the problematic ports. So not a big deal.

For my TV, Denon 3808, Pioneer DVD player, all works perfectly. While I did not intend to do so to test anything I did end up grabbing the hdmi cable which then moved the Pioneer DVD player. And as their video shows, I picked up the DVD player and the cable stayed secure.

My primary concern for which I purchased this product is how falling out hdmi cables put stress on hdmi inputs. Stress that exceeds the design capacity of these ports. I do not want damage done to my components. This product fixes that concern perfectly.

My big screen TV requires all cables to be attached and then put the display in its place in my entertainment center. I am forever having to put cable back and try to put it in place carefully. Not so now!

Great product. Designed well. Probably don't need the shortest allen head set screws however.

These really work, however I have to say that I had a really hard time getting hold off these in the UK and I can't get over that there is no distribution.

The product has stopped the HDMI cable falling out of the back of the computer, which was causing several support calls.

When I told facilities they said-can you not just get a cable that doesn't fall out? Three weeks later I sorted it thanks to EZ lock.

Worked well, instructions could have been printed bigger, and with bigger pics and thus been much easier to follow. Do we really need to to save a penny or two there? Otherwise, great product.

Due to the small parts involved, putting the hd EZ lock in place can be a bit challenging to assemble, but it does what it is designed to do and generally seems to be well-constructed.

I don't know what the folks that invented the HDMI cable standards were thinking by creating a connection that is by default so unstable and loose. They could have easily came up with a better connection standard.

But this hassle is COMPLETELY eliminated by BlueEcho with their hd EZ lock system.

I did some research and there's nothing else close out there. They've even lowered their prices recently, so a great deal is now even better (still, I would have paid almost twice what I did for the peace of mind these nifty little connectors provide).

I had to read the instructions more than once to "get" exactly how they connect, as they offer multiple options depending on your type of equipment. Just take your time when installing them.

Do yourself a favor and stop reading reviews and just order the sets you need. I assure you that you'll be glad you did!

Outstanding!

I bought three sets of these for my Pioneer Kuro, Oppo, and my HD cable box. Too many times the cable has come loose from my Kuro (which hangs down). I had even tried velcro cable ties to try to take the tension off without much success.

And if any of you have an 8300HDC cable box, you know unplugging the power is sometimes a weekly occurrence just to reset the box. Not easy to do when installed in a cabinet without knocking the HDMI loose also.

hd EZ lock is great. The installation was fairly easy. Had I have taken everything out of my cabinet, it would have been a piece of cake, but I didn't want to drag all of that out.

All of my components had the screw above the HDMI socket, so method one in the very detailed instructions is what I used for everything.

One thing I recommend during install is if you are working in tight places, like I was with everything still in the cabinet, lightly screw in the set screw into the main body before sliding the cable through and plugging the cable in. If you don't, and you are in a cramped space, getting that set screw in after can be a real pain.

The product is excellent - no more tension on the cables or sockets and no more cables jarring loose. If I get more components, I will definitely be ordering more of these.

The EZ lock fastners did a very good job of making secure connnections of four hdmi cables to back our our flat screen tv. Before using the EZ lock the connections were loose.

The Van de Hul HDMI cables that I use to connect my Denon equipment perform very well. The only problem was they have no ability to stay connected once plugged in. Denon Bluray Players have a tendency to mount there HDMI connectors upside down which make a loose connection even worse. The hd EZ lock has completely solved this problem, simple, clever and cheap. This is a good product which does what it is advertised to do. Instructions are ok (slightly small and hard to read), and the product installed ok. The screws supplied did not fit the hole in my Receiver, but the one already there worked ok. End result: HDMI cables held firmly in place and signal is good and steady. Attention to customer (even for a low priced product like this one) is unusual and very much appreciated.

I could not get my HDMI cables to maintain good connections with my Sony receiver, whcih I think has mediocre HDMI slots. I am using heavy, in wall rated cables - which are over kill but what Monoprice had in stock. With the EZ locks in place the signals instantly stayed intact - at first. Lately, they have dropped out intermittently - but again, only with the receiver. I suspect that the sheathing on the cables is stiff enough and heavy enough to deform the EZ locks slightly so that they can not hold a firm connection - but only with the Sony receiver.

Needed an Hdmi lock for a heavy, long projector cable run and EZ lock works just as described. Fantastic, solid and easy to use. Ordered more to use side by side on a receiver for all my inputs and outputs and all other components for a reliable safe and secure worry free connection.

I have started using these in my client installations after incorporating them into my personal systems. If you are going to use any heavier gauge HDMI cable (even Best Buys!), you are highly advised to utilize these for all you HDMI connections. However technically wonderful HDMI is, the format is very flawed mechanically, offering a poor methodology of linking cable to device. I might even consider running HDMI in-wall after utilizing the EZ Locks!

HD EZ lock is everything it claims to do. Keep your HDMI in place so it doesn't fall or damage the port. Personally I believe that the HDMI cords are built with a major flaw. I have destroyed one of the port in my plasma because of this. Protect your hardware.

Really innovative product that helps with heavy hdmi cables pulling (or in my case actually damaging) the HDMI connectors on the receiver. I'd say 5 stars but I'd like to see an even stronger version: these ones still flex a bit more than I'd like under moderate lateral pressure. that said, they're working very well and the heavy cables are pretty firmly attached.

I used this with a heavy-duty CL2-rated inwall HMDI cable that is very heavy. It caused much sagging on my old receiver. Used the hd EZ lock on the back of my Denon AVP-A1HDCI. Installation was straight-forward, and the EZ lock supports the cable much better than nothing at all. You actually get two in the package, so you could put one on each end of the cable. Fair price, works as advertised.

It was a bit of a hassle to install because my Sony TV with two HDMI inputs have the inputs recessed and it was difficult to tighten the set screw as it was a tight fit but I finally got them tightened and the connectors are now rock solid.

After hooking up my new blu-ray player I noticed that my tv was blinking every now and then. Or sometimes got a message that the signal it received was not compatible so the tv did not know how to process the signal. At first I thought my cable was broken or something, but I quickly found out that hdmi cables can come loose because of the weight or it's vertical position. After searching a bit more I came across this product. While reading the reviews it came clear to me that this is the product I was searching for. This morning I installed the EZ Locks and my oh my I was jumping up and down of joy because now my cables are locked! Turned on the blu-ray/tv and saw no more blinking pictures or signal errors messages :) Blue Echo you have a product that is perfect, really!

Works as advertised. Used on a Sony BluRay multi-changer. My long, heavy hdmi cable kept loosening up. This solved the problem. Installation was about a 5 minute job and I am not particularly handy.

OK, so I was a bit sceptical about using the hd EZ lock. I've tried so-called "locking HDMI cables" before, and quite frankly, they didn't do much, nor did they lock very well.

As a home theater installer, I put in a LOT of HDMI cables. Most work great, most of the time. But sometimes, there are circumstances that conspire to create an unfriendly environment for the HDMI cables. For instance:
- Certain receivers have their HDMI ports oriented vertically (yes, you, Yamaha), making the cables very susceptible to falling out, or at least coming loose
- Environments where there is a lot of moving of a component (for example, a flay screen on an articulating mount)
- Very tight quarters, where there is a lot of strain on the HDMI cable
- Situations where an HDMI cable is very long (and therefore very heavy), thus putting more strain on it
For all of these environments, the hd EZ lock works great!

Using these locks has now saved me numerous customer calls. I now ALWAYS use them whenever I put in a projector, and whenever things may move around a bit after installation.

i received them very quickly after placing my order. the instructions were good but i found it easier to take my unit out of the rack and connect them to the receiver. it was much easier that way. once connected they are very secure. i'm sure i will not have a problem with the cables coming loose.

On both a DVD player and a receiver I've experienced loss of signal due to heavy cables stressing the contacts (I've had the equipment on a table with wheels - don't ask why). With the hd EZ lock the stress is transferred from the HDMI contact to the cabinet, and I can now rest assured that I don't have to fear any more expensive repairs or early retirement of otherwise fine equipment. Great product!!

The hd EZ lock works very much as advertised. It places a secure hold on HDMI connectors on both ends of the cable. Be prepared to work with small screws; I'd recommend very good lighting and a magnifying glass - though my eye sight isn't what it once was.

I had problems with vertical hdmi connectors on my tv after a while. The connections got loose with time, which led to dropouts. This holds the cable tightly in position where it should be and I haven't had a drop out since they were installed. Price seems a bit steep, but they do what they are supposed to.

This little cable accessories is well design specially for home entertainment system. As we all know HDMI interfaced is poorly engineered even at this stage of technological wonder. This HD EZ Lock thingy is a must for audio/video enthusiast. Its easy to install and its cheap considering what it does.

Possible issue was my Sony XBR4's HDMI slots were vertical, and all the examples showed horizontal mounting. Blue Echo assured me that it ought to work and that they would allow a return if I wasn't satisfied. They also suggest which mounting method to use.

Directions were very clear, and installation was completely straightforward. Having the slots vertical didn't seem to pose any problem, and the cables are really solid now.

Follow up to my first post: Seems to have cured my strange video dropouts with my denon 3800 bluray player-since the installation of this unit on the back of the hdmi connection, I have not had a single dropout the last several movies I have played. If any of you are having strange hdmi dropouts - try this out! HDMI is a flaky unsecured connection to begin with so this will insure a tight non-movable connection at all times.

I was ready to give up on HDMI and switch to component cables due to intermittent loss of signal between my Denon receiver and Sony projector. I tried and failed at multiple attempts to secure the connection between a high quality HDMI cable and my Denon receiver. This adapter solved the problem and was easy to attach to the receiver (Denon AVR-3808CI)

So I have been having all sorts of problems ever since I upgraded my entertainment system with an LCD television. Now I'm not a professional theater installer or anything, but I'm a techie through and through. I was swapping cables, parts, devices. Nothing could get rid of my intermittent picture and sound loss.

So one day I noticed while fooling around behind the TV that depending on how my super high quality cables were resting, I had even worse problems than I had before. I did some googling and found this site. 20 bucks, some dremel work and decent amount cursing directed towards allen wrenches later... my problems are gone.

My Sony TV had a plastic sheet over the inputs area that needed to be painfully removed for the connectors to sit flush. Your install may be easier. But the product works, so I'm a happy camper.

Easy to use, right to the point. It locks the socket out. For high end cable with slippery sockets, it may not grab as well, but does the job. Have a USB version of it. Then I am good. Thanks.

This locking devise works as advertised. I installed 2 of them in a system upgrade on the rear of a Plasma display knowing that I would be moving the display in the cabinet several times before done. Once installed and pulling on the cable I realized that there would not be a problem with this lock. Although I have not used many of these yet. the slim design should work well where you have HDMI inputs close together on the rear of some equipment.

There was one concern that I had after opening the lock and 'test fitting' one on the ProFlex AP series HDMI cable as the fit was too tight, but after removing the logo from the two sides of the connector there was more than enough room and the lock functioned great.

I had given up on my HDMI connections as the weight of the thick cables in the back of my A-V receiver was causing random breakdowns. If you use good quality HDMI cable, the inherant design and manufacture requirements, often make that cable stiff and unwilling to conform to tight turns and the requisite twisting to fit into the designated receptacles. Once you have the cable plugged in, the cable "manufacturing memory", makes it want to return to some semblance of the way it was stored and shipped. And it is soon unplugged. The hd EZ lock works very well, to keep your devices plugged in and working to their maximum potential!

At the Texas Petawatt Laser we are using HDMI splitters/amplifiers that came with no locking mechanism to hold the heavy 30' HDMI cable in place.

HD EZ Lock is a great solution!
The VHB adhesive hold the cables firmly in place.

I don't have to deal with tracing cables to blank screens anymore.

In any system... It's imperative that all connections are fully secure to ensure proper transmission of audio/video signals. Having a solid connection between the HDMI cable and the component tends to be a slippery slope, especially in custom installations. Thanks to Blue Echo Solutions with the development of the hd EZ lock, anyone can rest assure that even in the most difficult of installations, a secure and solid transmission of any audio/video signal will be delivered time and time again.

I am a audio/video integrator in the Los Angeles area. One of the issues that comes around often is that HDMI cables "pop" out or break. I charge a service call charge on these instances. When I go to a client's house and within a minute solve the problem by putting the HDMI cable back in (that the wife or maid inadvertently knocked out while cleaning) or worse tell them that the end to their $150 HDMI "somehow" (see above) broke, it leaves a pretty shocked and/or disgusted look on a customer's face especially upon handing them the bill. In using the HD-EZ lock, I was initially impressed with how solid the connection was. It made me feel really confident. My immediate decision was to incorporate the hd-EZ lock in all of my installs. I worked the cost into my pricing and would recommend all Integration companies trying to boost their profits to do so. The hd-EZ lock saves everyone money!! A client is not charged for a service call and possible HDMI cable replacement. I am technically losing money as the time used can be spent much more effectively. Furthermore, this service call has left a couple people P.O.'d (referrals anyone??). In addition, it creates a great conversational piece, making you look more "on-it" and instills customer confidence by knowing that you have incorporated just another safe-guard to ensure the performance of their system. I am even starting to use it to call previous clients and have gotten a couple of Blu-Ray player sales (and installations)from it. Totally recommended.

I run a 35 foot Blue Jeans HDMI cable from my projector to my AVR and it's a juicy fat cable with a lot of tension as it's not the most flexible little monkey. So for a while I'd get the cable coming out of kilter due to the strain in the cable relative to the position of my AVR. This led to drop outs in the picture which was unacceptable. I looked for an HDMI lock but nothing was available until I installed the EZ lock and now it hasn't happened since. Great product but it should be cheaper. I give it 10 stars for solving my problem. I could deduct a star or two for being slightly overpriced but I'm no cheapskate and since my problem is resolved, I'm happy.

I invested a lot of money in my 7.1 receiver and other HDMI components for my home theater system. However, every time I moved the components for cleaning the HDMI cables would pull out. Not only did the cables pull out but they were beginning to cause wear and tear on the HDMI connections to my expensive components. The hd EZ locks are very easy to install and my HDMI cables have not pulled out at all after installing them. The connections are secure. I am surprised that HDMI components or cables do not come standard with these locks! I am completely satisfied with this product and would highly advise their purchase to anyone who likes to keep their components securely connected.

All in all, these locking adaptors work very well and are very useful with devices whose HDMI ports tend to be a bit loose. Easy to install (using the port's existing anchor screw) they secure the HDMI cable to the port very well. One cautionary note: Be careful and don't overtorque the locking screw. It can strain and break the adaptor but that small quible aside, an excellent product.
